Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air, & Electric is currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Lead HVAC IAQ Technician to join our IAQ team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our IAQ technicians serve the customers by educating them on available product options, as well as thoroughly cleaning and maintaining the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in the customer's home. This role will, also, serve as a mentor and coach to both apprentice and entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of HVAC duct systems to pinpoint areas needing cleaning
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for efficient cleaning of HVAC components, such as ducts and vents
• Safely remove debris and contaminants from HVAC systems
• Install filters and components to improve indoor air quality
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient work environment
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
• Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their indoor air quality which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement.
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
• Assisting with other duties as needed

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• Valid Texas Drivers License - Minimum of 3 years driving experience with clean driving record is REQUIRED.
• Experience with Service Titan preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
• Working knowledge of city codes
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs; withstand the heat
• Knowledge of basic tools
• Must be able to carry 75lbs.
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
