Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a strategic and driven Power Systems Program Manager to support and lead initiatives across sales, services, strategic planning, and product development in the Power Systems industry. This role is a high-impact position requiring a mix of project leadership, market insight, and collaborative execution to drive growth and ensure our Power Systems Group continues to deliver leading-edge power solutions across sectors such as gas-insulated substations, HVDC, offshore wind, and more.
What You'll Do:
Shape the Strategy:
Collaborate with the Vice President of our Power Systems Group to develop and implement business plans and strategic initiatives that align with divisional and corporate goals.
Lead Critical Projects:
Manage specialized initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and impact expectations.
Drive Product Success:
Support product development, market launches, and service strategies across key technologies including FACTS, HVDC, switchgear, nuclear systems, and synchronous condensers.
Champion Service Excellence:
Work closely with MEPPI's Service Center of Excellence and Division Management to grow service sales and enhance the customer experience.
Promote a Culture of Quality & Safety:
Advance MEPPI's Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies, promoting their value and implementation across all operations.
Represent MEPPI on the Industry Stage:
Engage with key industry bodies like NEMA, IEEE, and CIGRE, contributing to standards development and market leadership.
Spot Market Opportunities:
Collaborate with Marketing and Corporate Development to analyze trends, monitor government policy, and uncover emerging opportunities in the power systems landscape.
Drive Planning & Performance:
Contribute to strategic and annual business planning while evaluating reports and financials to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support Operational Excellence:
Play an active role in process improvement, policy development, and performance initiatives that strengthen PSG's execution.
Be a Trusted Voice:
Support internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment, professionalism, and representation of MEPPI's values in all interactions.
What You Bring:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in the electric power industry or equivalent combination of education and expertise.
