This position reports to

Channel Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined channel sales strategy in specified market scope in an effective manner to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations in the assigned channel. Each day, you will execute channel sales strategies and initiatives within the assigned market, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel, in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the sales customer base growth for the assigned channel. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification business area and the Smart building & Smart Power divisions in particular in Spain. Main stakeholders are Panel builders, installers, end users and other direct channels such as distributors. You will be mainly accountable for: • Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget. • Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies. • Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets. • Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems if they were to arise. You will join a experienced, collaborative, dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

  • Electrical or electronic engineering background, or professional training in the same field.
  • You enjoy working with both established and new technologies to craft the best solutions for our clients and the electrical and industry market.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, working with panel builder, installers and mainly with End Users; or working as sales specialist with low voltage products).
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of PDC, DocWin and other quotation, electrical design and engineering tools.
  • You are passionate about building strong relationships with customers and understanding their unique business objectives and crafting innovative technical solutions that directly address customer needs and
  • drive business outcomes.
  • Have a demonstrated track record in understanding customer business needs and translating them into
  • technical requirements.
  • You are at ease communicating in Spanish and fluent English (intermediate- advanced level).
  • You hold current valid in and (Whatever required to work in Spain / EU).
