Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, managing work orders, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Conducting routine inspections of premises, facilities and equipment.
  • Overseeing building related maintenance works and repairs (e.g. plumbing and sanitary works, painting works, tiling works etc.) performed by technicians and contractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to technicians, and ensuring repairs are completed correctly.
  • Maintaining records of maintenance activities, preparing reports on progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Managing budgets, materials, and equipment, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Communicating with technicians, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving.
  • Addressing customer complaints, providing feedback on maintenance needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties and activities as required including any other ad-hoc works as and when assigned by Facilities Manager.


Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Property & Facilities Management / Intelligent Building Technology / Facilities Management or equivalent
  • At least 2 years working experience in building maintenance
  • Preferably with experience in service and maintenance
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and manage their work effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute ad-hoc minor work projects.
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
