This role focuses on the creation, management, and maintenance of accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for products. You'll ensure data integrity and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and product development.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Creating, updating, and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) for various products.
- Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure BOM accuracy.
- Verifying BOM completeness with all required components and material details.
- Managing BOM changes and updates through a controlled change management process.
- Working with suppliers to validate component availability and specifications.
- Analyzing BOM data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensuring BOMs comply with internal standards and industry regulations.
- Training team members on BOM processes, tools, and best practices.
- Creating and configuring new items and BOMs within the ERP system.
- Developing technical specifications for new items.
- Understanding and ensuring adherence to product certification requirements.
- Tracking code activation service levels and progress.
- Managing engineering error tracking, including corrective and preventive action metrics.
- Supporting global ECN (Engineering Change Notice) implementation and maintaining current drawing revisions in the ERP system.
- Updating BOMs to reflect product obsolescence.
Who You Are:
You are a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills. You work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure that Bills of Materials (BOMs) are accurate, current, and complete. Your solid understanding of manufacturing processes supports high standards of data integrity and efficiency.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Proven experience with ERP systems and BOM management software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Product knowledge in solenoid valves, TopWorx, Tescom, cylinders, and FRLs is a plus
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in BOM management or a related area
