This is an exciting opportunity to work on world-class offshore projects involving the installation and removal of topsides and jacket structures up to 60,000 tonnes, serving both the oil & gas and renewable energy sectors.

Function description

About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the concept, basic, and detailed engineering phases of complex heavy lift operations. You will design, analyze, and ensure the integrity of offshore structures, supporting project execution with innovative solutions and precise engineering.

You will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team including Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Draftsmen. Together, you will contribute to the safe and economical execution of offshore projects using some of the most advanced vessels in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define structural scope, methodologies, and progress tracking.
  • Perform design studies and structural analysis for offshore installations and removals.
  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and material take-offs.
  • Develop and document engineering procedures and methods.
  • Support offshore execution phases with technical expertise.
  • Coordinate fabrication work (in-house and subcontracted).
  • Review subcontractor designs and installation/removal methods.
  • Contribute to project close-out reports and continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years (Medior) or 7+ years (Senior) relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with structural software (FEMAP, GeniE) is a plus.
  • Proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to take initiative.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore.
  • Affinity with offshore and marine environments is preferred.
