About the Role

As Technical Superintendent, you will manage the full lifecycle of technical operations for your assigned assets. From daily maintenance coordination to strategic investments and project support, you will ensure vessels remain safe, compliant, and efficient. You will also contribute to long-term improvement initiatives, including sustainability projects and technical innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, classification societies, and flag state requirements.
• Analyze operational data to support informed technical and financial decisions.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets for maintenance and asset investments.
• Plan and coordinate repair and maintenance activities, including damage repairs and modifications.
• Act as Project Manager for vessel-specific technical projects.
• Promote standardization of maintenance practices and continuous improvement of procedures.
• Approve procurement and invoice workflows related to vessel operations.
• Lead the technical scope for port calls and dry-dock activities.
• Maintain an up-to-date maintenance backlog and investment planning.
• Liaise with vessel crew and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• BSc / MSc in Maritime Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of maritime rules and regulations (IMO, class societies).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical management role within the maritime or offshore sector.
• Proactive mindset with solid project management and coordination skills.
• Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with vessel crews and technical teams.
