Your responsibilities include:

• Repairing dirt, gravel, asphalt, and concrete streets to ensure smooth and safe travel.
• Loading and hauling sand, dirt, brush, and debris to and from work sites.
• Clearing and maintaining storm drains, setting culverts, and constructing drainage boxes to keep water flowing where it should.
• Operating and maintaining essential equipment like dump trucks and heavy machinery, which are critical to getting the job done right.
• Working alongside other departments like water and sewer when your expertise is needed.
• Handling all-weather conditions-whether it's a hot summer day or a rainy winter afternoon-and responding to emergency calls when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent training and experience).
• A valid Texas Driver's License.

Emergency Operations Classification:
