What You Can Expect

As the Project Coordinator at the University of Iowa, you will support Program Managers in coordinating key project phases-design, procurement, construction, and commissioning-for utility plant and distribution projects. You'll assist with reporting, stakeholder communication, and drafting business justifications based on research and assessments.

  • Schedule and manage project meetings, track action items, and support documentation close-out
  • Maintain and update project templates and assist with reporting across all phases


What You'll Bring
  • A Bachelor's degree; In lieu of a four-year degree, you should have a minimum of four years of construction management experience and previous experience giving presentations to stakeholders
  • You possess or have the desire to earn a PMP certification
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and other project management tools to gather and organize required data


Additional Details
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically occasionally with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record; Operation of ENGIE vehicles is required
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfortable managing time-sensitive projects based on order of importance


This position consist of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

Compensation

Salary Range: $25.91 - $40.08 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
