Vestas Technology & Operations > Supply Chain > Demand Management
Service Supply Chain is part of VTO Supply Chain, and we are responsible for the global inventory and availability of all spare parts (both mains and minors) for the maintenance of installed turbines. You will become responsible for a international team from around the world, being responsible for the planning and collaboration with internal and external suppliers to ensure a superior delivery performance and availability. Moreover, you will also be contributing to the development of our Supply Chain

Responsibilities
As a Manager for the Supply Planning Team, you will be responsible for:
  • Leadership, people management and development of a diverse set of functions across different countries
  • You will be responsible for supplier forecasting and ensuring capacity planning, validation. Sign-off with main vendors & manufacturing teams
  • You will be responsible for optimizing source flow by pushing Localization/ Direct sourcing and will ensure seamless execution along with procurement and SBUs.
  • Drive the monthly S&OP process together with other Supply Chain functions such as Demand, Inventory and Risk management
  • Develop and implement supply plans to meet demand forecasts while ensuring flawless supply execution across key inventory locations
  • You will support sustainability by planning and ensuring availability of renovated components along with our global repair operations team


Qualifications
  • We expect candidates to have a relevant degree combined with a significant experience in operations, supply chain and logistics or commercial experience in global B2B companies
  • Experience from running, facilitating, and working with S&OP team with a customer focus
  • Proficient in handling suppliers and engaging on quarterly business review
  • Good understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP SAC etc.
  • We prefer some experience with remote Leadership
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Good stakeholder management skills combined with the ability to navigate across organizational levels, present insights and collaborate across departments and various stakeholders
  • Capability to function effectively within a complex, matrix organization across Global Supply Chain and Vestas
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple short- and long-term priorities in a challenging environment
  • Solid data analysis, statistical modeling, and problem-solving abilities
  • A convincing communicator who knows how to mobilize people
