About this Role:
The Roof Lead is responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential rooftops. This role involves working on a team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality solar system installations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install racking systems and solar panels on residential roofs
• Safely operate and tow a truck and trailer
• Mount and seal penetrations for electrical and racking systems
• Perform maintenance and testing of PV systems
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Interact with customers professionally on-site
• Run conduit and wire on roofs
• Seal structural penetrations with appropriate materials
• Configure AC and DC electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Complete job documentation and reports accurately
• Assist Foreman and Regional Operations Manager with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of residential solar installation experience required
• OSHA certification preferred
• Proficiency with tools, equipment, and materials related to solar installation
• Working knowledge of NEC codes and PV systems
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean MVR

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work at heights and on rooftops
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs. frequently
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Stand, kneel, climb, and bend for extended periods
