Our client, a global financial services and digital payments company, is seeking a Mining Site Manager.

This position is an on-site, 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. Candidates must be eligible to work in St. Louis, Missouri, without requiring H-1B visa sponsorship. The hourly rate is $41.38, W2 paid holidays through Talent Table. NO Corp-to-Corp.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an off-site test hub that operates Bitcoin mining rigs.
• Run day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operation of the test hub (monitor device performance, examine environmental parameters such as temperature and power, review logs, and document/report any issues).
• Be on-site as needed for troubleshooting and responding to requests from software, firmware, and electrical engineering teams.
• Address building site issues.
• Manage communication with third-party suppliers and service providers, such as utilities and office management.
• Collect operational data and metrics for the hub and share them with the rest of the mining team.
• Manage an electronic hardware lab dedicated to Bitcoin mining.
• Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems used by the software development team.
• Source replacement parts for electronic systems.
• Provide hands-on debugging of the client's latest mining products.

Skills:

• 5 years of experience in electronics testing, technician roles, and/or the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with electronics lab measurements and test equipment.
• Proficiency in soldering, troubleshooting electronic circuits, rework, and debugging hardware.
• Familiarity with the command-line interface, basic shell scripting, and navigating the Linux file system.
• Skilled in using various tools to update and maintain software components of hardware systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Bitcoin.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin mining operations.
• Experience in high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, or server environments.
• Understanding of computer networking, equipment, tools, and concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
