Job Description:

As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, we must adapt to a changing world and maintain driven performance. bp's customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, using technology, and developing deep expertise. The BTC will be a core and connected part of our business, bringing together colleagues who report into their respective part of C&P, working together with other functions across bp. This is an exciting time to join bp and the customers & products team.

The team is responsible for providing global direction for pricing maintenance & development, provides ad hoc support to Analysts to ensure pricing-related deadlines are met and works closely with the Data & Digital team to develop quality & coverage while maintaining pricing accuracy in the PDMS pricing system & ERPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend improvements/changes to process regarding P2P data management in consultation with the P2P Analysts (EMEA, AMR & ASIA).
  • Recommend changes to Management Information in consultation with Procurement Leadership Team and Procurement Managers.
  • Recommend changes/improvements to price list management in consultation with Procurement Managers.
  • Loading of supplier pricelists into PDMS pricing system.
  • Global Co-ordination of Vendor Pricing (creation, (amendments, deletions).
  • Management of Purchase Information Records (creation, amendments, deletions).
  • Management of SAP Contracts (creation, amendments, deletions).
  • Preparation and quality assurance of monthly performance reports.
  • Preparation of pricing related ad hoc reports.
  • Preparation of data in response to RFQ / RFP.
  • Transitioning vendors onto the BP Vendor Portal to facilitate direct pricing changes using PDMS.

Essential Education, Experience and Job Requirements

  • University degree and equivalent work experience, in an appropriate technical and commercial subject area.
  • The role holder must have a deep understanding of the P2P Process in BP and beyond and specifically how the P2P process touches and integrates pricing.
  • Experience of SAP/JDE P2P system processes.
  • A proven track record in a P2P analytical role.
  • Experience of working with remote stakeholder to achieve desired outcomes.
