We are searching for two Traffic Control Foreman for our Commerce City, Colorado Location.

Must be dependable, and willing and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements. Some of the physical demands are:
Must be able to lift and carry on a frequent basis, up to 50-90 pounds on a daily and continual basis.

Compensation: $29.50 - 31.00/hr. (Pay is determined by union contract.)

We are searching for two Traffic Control Foreman for our Commerce City, Colorado Location.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day to day field operation of CO Traffic Control Services
- Schedule field work
- Attend pre-con meetings
- Continue to perform manual duties of T/C field operations
- Responsible for Quality Assurance functions of division
- Ensure quality of all work performed.
- Perform field duties as needed.
- Efficiently coordinate assigned work volumes.
- Represent company in a courteous and professional manner with respect to conduct and appearance with, vendors and customers and behave respectfully toward fellow employees on any management or non-management level and honor requests made in relationship to work-related items. Will project a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude toward all work-related contacts whether fellow employees, contractors, vendors and customers.
- Attend all required company and customer meetings.
- Report all suspected abuse of equipment or tools to the Safety Manager and Traffic Control Area Manager.
- Ensure effective and efficient usage of all company resources.
- Lead to insure safe and efficient work practices to help assist company in realizing profits.
- Dress appropriately on a daily basis.
- Review and insure the accurate completion of all tracking forms on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist in creating and strengthening relationships with current customers as well as with foremen, managers and employees. Look for opportunities for future customer growth and pass information on to Traffic Control Area Manager.
- Enforce all safety rules and company policies.
- Assist Safety Manager to plan and conduct weekly meetings to promote safety, improve work processes and keep the employees motivated.
- Handle employee issues which includes addressing issues of job quality, safety concerns and when necessary will discipline and reprimand employees under your supervision.
- Handle all customer complaints as dispatched and keep in contact reporting resolve to office customer service representative.
- Work closely with Safety Manager for maintenance, accident reduction, equipment abuse and equipment tracking issues.
- Reports to and/or obtains approval from Traffic Control Area Manager on the following:
- All changes or commitments with contracts or company policy
- All operations daily
- All purchases over $100.00 (NOT including fuel and materials)
- Any problems or conflicts of any type
- Visit weekly and work closely with other employees to develop their skills.
Job Requirements:
- Solid communication skills and reasoning ability. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees, supervisors/foremen, vendors, suppliers and customers.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all types of people.
- Previous experience in traffic control or construction environment desired
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficient
- Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situations
- Proficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook; willingness and ability to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers (internal/external)
- Shifts and travel may vary according to project demands which will include out of state operations and projects
Must be dependable, and willing and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements. Some of the physical demands are:

- Ability to drive on a stop and start basis daily and continually.
- Lifting, placing of materials, standing, walking, turning, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.
- Close vision is required for some functions and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety.
