Your role and responsibilities
As the Technical Manager of Molding and Cutting Tools, within one of our two electrical contactor assembly units, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of new tools and the maintenance of existing tools with our subcontractors. Your main responsibilities: • In the context of designing new contactors and associated products: • Collaborate with Agile Teams (R&D) to support the design of parts with a "Design for Quality, Design for Cost, Design for Manufacturing" approach. • Draft tool specifications, validate molding simulations, and participate in supplier selection. • Oversee tool development and manage the first production batch. • For existing production: • Ensure the adequacy of our tooling capacity and availability with production needs. Define and manage the associated investments. • Oversee modifications and ensure proper maintenance of tooling with subcontractors both in France and abroad. • Provide expertise within the integrated production unit with a constant focus on quality improvement and cost optimization. • Define the annual investment budget for your scope in agreement with the industrial management and ensure its follow-up.

Qualifications for the role
- A Bac +3/+5 in Plastics Engineering or a similar technical field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in plastic and/or metal tooling in a similar role or in a plastic processing and/or cutting site.
- A minimum B2 level in English.
