Weatherford have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Country Manager to join the team in Pointe Noire.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to oversee the area business development and customer relationship management, service delivery execution and develop a unified culture which translates to a cohesive service offering for customers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver growth, optimized performance, and bottom-line results.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring ethical conduct and compliance with the company's policies, management systems, laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Prioritize quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection, continually seeking improvement and exceeding customer expectations.
• Collaborate with sales, product lines, marketing, manufacturing, and operations teams to manage inventory, asset utilization, and integrated solution suites.
• Drive the service delivery process, ensuring root cause analysis, remedial actions, and accountability for incidents.
• Contribute to and review country bid summary analyses, coordinating teams and resources to deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Demonstrate financial responsibility, managing budgets, processing expenses within agreed timeframes, and following relevant financial policies and procedures.
• Foster an environment that supports the attraction and retention of a high-performing, talented workforce.
• Define and execute the product line strategy in collaboration with leadership, identifying opportunities for new products and technologies.
• Demonstrate leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or an equivalent field is required. A master's degree, preferably an MBA, is preferred.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least two years of experience as an Operations Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Product Line Manager, or Technical Sales Manager.
• Working knowledge of product lines, products, services, and their applications/operations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively across diverse multicultural and multilingual communities.
• English and French language skills are required.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and the ability to develop financial plans, manage resources, analyze and interpret financial data, and prepare reports and projections.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, and planning skills.
• Ability to manage, develop, coach, and mentor teams across organizational boundaries.
• Familiarity with reading, analyzing, and interpreting scientific, technical, financial, and legal documents.
• Travel Requirement - this role will require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 25-50%.
