This position reports to
Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: #hybrid #hybrid-Li This role is contributing to the Operations Manager in Hydra, Algeria. Main stakeholders are Procurement Manager, internal teams, suppliers, and external partners. You will be mainly accountable for: • Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier reliability • Designing and implementing local sourcing strategies to meet business targets and future needs • Supporting the Procurement Manager in aligning local sourcing strategies with business goals • Applying procurement standards, tools, and processes to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability • Tracking procurement processes and activities, generating reports as per ABB standards • Resolving procurement issues related to cost, quality, and delivery within assigned areas • Monitoring supplier and internal performance using KPIs, addressing quality issues with corrective actions • Participating in training programs to ensure compliance and foster professional development • Ensuring effective communication internally and externally, collaborating across teams and units • Demonstrating ABB's core values and ethics, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and integrity standards Our team dynamics (Optional) You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role
- You are engaged in data analysis, reporting, and order handling processes within the procurement and supply chain sector
- You have 5 years of experience in supplier relationship management, strategy implementation, and customer satisfaction
- Highly adept in SAP with strong capabilities in managing procurement workflows and reporting tools
- You are passionate about problem-solving and team collaboration, consistently contributing to efficient and effective operations
- Proven experience in procurement and logistics, with a strong focus on strategy, execution, and supplier engagement
- You are at ease communicating in written English, ensuring clear and professional correspondence
- You hold a degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or similar, supporting your expertise in procurement and logistics
- You hold relevant operational knowledge and work permits applicable to your current location and responsibilities
- Target-oriented and committed to delivering results aligned with business goals and performance metrics
