The Human Resources Business Partner coordinates, implements and manages programs, processes and initiatives covering all aspects of human resources management. Collaborating with HR as a line operations team member and with the business units to recommend-support initiatives necessary to achieve company objectives as well as employee relations management.

Responsibilities include leading key HR processes for client groups, including:

  • Partner with HR centers of excellence such as talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits to execute the HR strategy and action plans


  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to coach managers around recruiting and selection processes including new project headcount roll out, advice on paygrade structure, analyze headcount needs, review new job descriptions, provide recruitment status reports to stakeholders and assess on recruitment strategies (for new hires replacements and internal job postings for leadership positions) ( review different types of promotion-lateral movements processes with recruitment)


  • Partner with Compensation & Benefits and Mobility team to track employees' migratory status (transfers and relocations) and participate in final offer process.


  • Partner with Compensation & Benefits team to coach managers in issues related with paygrades, internal equity between similar positions, promotions, internal movements and salary planning.


  • Assist C&B with benefits communications or initiatives


  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues


  • Advise employees and managers on HR related policies, programs and procedures ensuring standardization, consistency, employment law compliance and employee relation issues.


  • Conduct and manage investigation of complaints and concerns received throughout different channels, that could result in legal ramifications; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on policy and practice.


  • Support implementation of approved and revised HR policies and perform presentations on HR compliance topics and others


  • Support business leaders on employee development programs initiatives, trainings, communication plans and deliver workshops according to business needs


  • Research effectiveness of HR programs and propose improvements to policies, programs and procedures to ensure higher effectiveness and operations


  • Support the employee opinion survey process and administer Focus groups to evaluate environment, culture and overall employee satisfaction. Coach business leaders on action plans, engagement and retention strategies (Conectados, Coffee talks, Passion Talks, Team Buildings, workshops, assessments, focus groups, etc.)


  • Assist with talent management: performance and talent review processes (Performance Appraisals, Performance Improvements Plans, Individual Development Plans, mandatory trainings, etc.)


  • Support leaders on talent development, participate in the creation and updating of the business's units career paths.


  • Participate in operational team and leadership meetings to reinforce HR topics, initiatives and updates.


  • Support the recognition culture and partner with leaders to reinforce the awards programs to increase engagement on employees who excel on performance and behaviors


  • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback to share with local managers to work on necessary action plans.


  • Partner with legal department to follow up on termination cases that require legal actions (involuntary terminations and incomplete notice periods)


  • Participate in external forums: CINDE, CAMSCAT, AMCHAM, BDS to reinforce knowledge on updated HR and market relevant topics.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related. MBA is a plus


  • 6+ years' experience in Human Resources


  • Minimum 3 years employee relations experience


  • Solid Human Resources Background/Experience


  • Experience in Multinational Companies preferred


  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a high performing environment


  • Experience coaching leaders


  • Execution oriented, thorough and analytical


  • Capable of handling multiples projects initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion


  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global workforce


  • Working knowledge and experience with MS Office


  • Excellent People Skills, Empathetic


  • Excellent Communication Skills (oral, verbal and great listener)


  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet deadlines


  • Strong and objective analysis and decision-making skills


  • Fluent in English


  • Knowledge of Employment Laws
