Our client is seeking an IT Support Engineer to manage and maintain their IT systems both onshore and offshore. Function description

• Manage and maintain all company and vendor IT equipment onshore and offshore.
• Supervise VSAT, software, and IT hardware rental contracts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for office and vessel users.
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, peripherals, and user accounts.
• Install and update software, hardware, and antivirus systems.
• Resolve network and server access issues for end users.
• Coordinate with domain and hardware vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain and improve IT policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of information and operational systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good command of the English language.
• Experience with software installation and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IT budgeting and digitalization planning.
