Job Summary:

What part will you play?

GAF Energy is seeking a Solar Design Proposal Specialist to help our Sales Team and Roofing Contractors inspire customers to invest in clean energy by creating accurate, high-quality, and speedy proposal designs.

What will you do?

• Generate Solar Roof Design Proposals and relevant associated deliverables.
• Use software to model site conditions and generate technical sales-design proposals for prospective solar roof customers (homeowners).
• Communicate with Roofing Contractor clients to provide optimized designs based on each homeowner's needs, while aligning with local AHJ and utility requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams/departments to facilitate project progression and provide a best-in-class customer experience.

What do we require from you?

• Construction Design/Drafting experience.
• Knowledge of CAD platforms, namely AutoCAD.
• Customer-service oriented with active listening and strong communication skills.
• Adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented; solar design often comes down to the details
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and innovative high-growth, start-up environment.
• Solar experience is a plus, but not required.

Individuals hired for this position can reasonably expect a base salary within the range of $45,000 - $70,000 and an annual bonus.
