As Germany accelerates its energy transition, residential battery storage is the critical missing piece-maximizing solar self-consumption, reducing grid dependence, and empowering homeowners with clean energy autonomy. At the center of this shift is the need for strong, sales-driven professionals who can turn opportunity into action.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a proven ability to sell, a strong personal network, and a passion for delivering customer excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Sell Relentlessly
Own the full sales cycle-from prospecting to closing. You are expected to generate, manage, and close opportunities independently. - Leverage Your Network
Bring and expand your own strong portfolio of installer and distribution network and r elationships to accelerate our market reach and sales velocity. - Champion Customer Excellence
Place the customer at the center of everything. Understand their needs, deliver outstanding service, and build long-term trust and loyalty. - Drive Revenue Growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently exceed revenue targets . Prioritize high-impact accounts and deliver results. - Position with Authority
Confidently communicate the value proposition of our storage solutions, technically and commercially. Differentiate us clearly from competitors. - Collaborate Internally
Partner closely with internal teams-including marketing, operations, product, and executive leadership-to deliver an aligned, best-in-class customer experience. - Represent Canadian Solar
Act as the face of the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer engagements. Build brand awareness and new business opportunities.
COMPETENCIES
- Proactive, results-driven with a pragmatic mindset and strong sense of urgency.
- Hands-on approach, down-to-earth mentality, and ability to work autonomously under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels, including executive management in an international environment.
LANGUAGES
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
LOCATION
- Germany
Your backpack is filled with
- Minimum 10 years' experience in B2B sales in solar, energy storage, or cleantech
- A robust personal network of EPCs, installers, and partners ready to engage
- Strong sales track record , with clear evidence of independently closing complex, high-value deals
- Deep technical knowledge of residential battery storage systems (string inverter experience is a plus)
- Fluency in German and English , with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with a passion for customer success
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability to engage across all organizational levels
- Strong team player with a focus on internal collaboration to ensure alignment and efficiency across departments
