The Role:
As a Manager of Commissioning, you will oversee commissioning and quality assurance efforts for all PV solar installations, including rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted systems. This leadership role ensures each project meets Coral Reef's standards for safety, performance, and compliance. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams-bridging field execution with quality-focused oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the commissioning and QA/QC teams to meet project schedules
• Develop and implement standardized commissioning plans, protocols, and documentation
• Conduct detailed inspections, performance tests, and validations of PV systems
• Identify and resolve installation or performance issues in real-time
• Coordinate cross-functionally with project teams, subcontractors, and engineering
• Provide hands-on technical support during the commissioning phase
• Maintain organized documentation of test results and system performance data
• Monitor and report KPIs tied to quality, timelines, and system reliability
• Mentor and train team members on safety and QA best practices
• Integrate the latest solar industry trends, tools, and regulations into processes

Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in PV commissioning or solar quality control
• In-depth understanding of PV systems (rooftop, carport, ground-mount) and performance testing
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and industry standards
• Hands-on experience with commissioning equipment and inspection tools
• Excellent communication, planning, and troubleshooting abilities
• Proficiency with technical reporting, test documentation, and QA tools
• Degree in engineering or technical field preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
• NABCEP certification and/or advanced credentials a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to solar sites as needed

Schedule:
