This position reports to
Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
Oversee the execution of production line, including assemblers, testers, and packaging personnel, to ensure alignment between activities and production plans to meet customers' requirements. Produce finished goods at optimal quality, timely execution at the lowest cost possible with a constant focus on improving efficiency and quality. • Assists management in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift. • Provides regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities and possible critical situations. • Helps management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities. • Serves as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues. • Reinforces focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery. • Ensures the shift operation is compliant with health & safety policies and guidelines. • Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products/circuit breakers/relays, including the packaging. Work is typically done manually or by using light hand tools.

Qualifications for the role
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Work effectively with limited supervision
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams
- Adept problem-solving skills
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
