Your role and responsibilities

The Salesforce Delivery Manager for Marketing & Sales plays a crucial role in creating a streamlined and efficient delivery process that promotes continuous improvement and enhances team performance. This position is dedicated to consistently meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations through effective delivery management and proactive communication. In this role, the Delivery Manager for Marketing & Sales will oversee the successful end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Marketing & Sales capabilities, ensuring that the development process runs smoothly while facilitating collaboration among team members. The Delivery Manager will provide oversight and coordination of distinct transformation projects, guiding and leading effective agile and product implementation across various initiatives covering the integration of these projects aligning strategic objectives. The Delivery Manager for Marketing & Sales will maintain high standards of quality, timeline adherence, and scope management throughout the release management & project lifecycle. This role will involve budget and tracking responsibilities, including close liaison with vendors for capacity planning to support the Tower budget and delivery requirements. The primary goal of the Salesforce Delivery Manager for Marketing & Sales is to drive the successful execution of the delivery process, from sprint planning to hypercare and AMS handover. This involves ensuring that all deliverables undergo rigorous testing, providing timely status updates and risk assessments, and leveraging lessons learned to refine processes for improved predictability and efficiency. By doing so, the Delivery Manager for Marketing & Sales will significantly contribute to the overall success of Salesforce initiatives within the organization. The main job responsibilities include: • Oversee the entire agile delivery process, ensuring efficient execution from sprint planning through development, deployment, and hyper care. Provide oversight and coordination of distinct transformation projects to guide and lead effective agile product implementation. • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles for the ASP and business teams, while also managing the integration of various projects to align with overall strategic objectives. • Daily track the progress of sprints using dashboards and tools, covering the complete delivery lifecycle while ensuring timelines, monitoring the performance of vendors to ensure effective delivery and budget management. • Proactively identify, monitor, and escalate risks or blockers, collaborating with team members to implement effective mitigation plans. Maintain a proactive approach to managing vendor relationships to ensure alignment with project goals. • Deliver regular updates on delivery status, risk assessments, budget consumption and milestone tracking to the Product Owner, Business Process Owners, and leadership. • Coordinate testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring all deliverables meet the necessary standards before acceptance. • Lead retrospectives to apply lessons learned, refining delivery processes and enhancing team performance for improved predictability. Encourage feedback from stakeholders and vendors to continuously improve delivery execution. • Work closely with stakeholders to align delivery process goals, expectations, and deliverables, fostering strong communication and collaboration throughout the delivery process

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer systems, business administration, project management or similar. Minimum 8+ years of relevant working experience, from that at least 4 years of experience as Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master or similar role within Salesforce Marketing & Sales domain or related fields, globally.
  • Certified Scrum Master / SAFe Scrum Master is preferred. And internal ABB Project Manager level 2 & 3 certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce technologies.
  • Exhibit effective leadership qualities to guide and motivate own team members, partners teams, while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear updates and facilitate discussions, along with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet delivery timelines.
  • Show a proactive approach in identifying potential risks and blockers, developing mitigation plans, and understanding risk management principles to effectively address challenges.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement considering using AI and Automation, while maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder needs and ensuring deliverables align with business objectives.
