In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• We support the development and maintenance of annual standard costs for all products, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• We cost and activate new purchased and manufactured items, reviewing for data integrity and consistency.
• We contribute to month-end close activities, including inventory reconciliation, journal entries, and investigating plant variances.
• We perform monthly variance analysis on cost of goods sold, raw materials, labor, and overhead accounts to provide actionable insights.
• We analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports that compare standard costs to actual production results.
• We collaborate with Operations and Engineering to prepare excess and obsolete reserves, ensuring clear and accurate financial reporting.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field-or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a cost accounting role within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, but we welcome candidates with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• A collaborative spirit and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
