About the Role

As a Project Quality Engineer (PQE), you will play a vital role in supporting the Project Management Units by ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle. This includes working closely with project teams to develop and execute quality plans, as well as providing expert guidance on quality-related matters to ensure successful and compliant project delivery.

In this role, you will continuously seek opportunities to improve the Quality Management System (QMS), with a particular focus on meeting specific customer quality requirements. You will proactively identify risks and implement enhancements aligned with SPS's QMS standards.

Based in our Brøndby office and working within the SPS teams, you will also be expected to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Your proactive support will be critical in fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze tender and contractual documents to ensure alignment with customer-specific quality requirements, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization by collaborating with Quality Teams to enhance work quality and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in supplier risk evaluations, monitor performance trends, and assist in the management of approved/non-approved supplier lists.
  • Coordinate and support customer and supplier audits, including follow-ups, contract reviews, and relevant reporting (weekly/monthly).
  • Provide input to the Supplier Audit Program based on performance evaluations.
  • Manage supplier quality documentation, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Technical Queries (TQs), and more.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer quality expectations and foster effective communication to ensure satisfaction.
  • Support internal investigations of customer concerns and manage non-conformances using root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Prepare and facilitate project "lessons learned" sessions to capture and apply key insights.
  • Deliver ad hoc quality training to project teams, promoting awareness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure quality plans are up to date and accurately reflect customer requirements and agreements throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly in Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Solid understanding of production technologies or a strong technical background.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interpret and articulate complex technical requirements.


Desirable:

  • Master's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, API Q1, or equivalent standards.
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Management, including supplier audits, performance evaluation, and corrective actions.
