The Systems engineer conducts component and product integration. All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance and interoperability.

The System Engineer will have a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in their own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space. Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches, and methods. Communicates across the direct organization. Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in a specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to the overall strategy. Connects the dots across technologies and develops cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business. Communicates across the function in area of expertise.

As a Systems engineer, you will be responsible for :

• Managing product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down, drive validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
• Defining product requirements for the module/component/subcontractors and partner teams.
• Managing the interface between components and execution organizations.
• Driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components.
• Managing the overall product configuration and configuration control system. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function.
• Having strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
• Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
• Communicating across the direct organization. Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
• Connecting the dots across technologies and developing cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business. Communicates across the function in the area of expertise.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Master's in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Have at least 6 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity.
• Be able to effectively communicate and have a growth mindset.
• Have a proven track record of collaboration in multi-functional teams, with project management skills as well as be Green Belt certified.
• Have deep knowledge of turbomachinery and their application in field.
