About This Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Solar Installer Manager, overseeing office management. This role is essential in ensuring our office operates smoothly while also managing the timely acquisition of necessary permits. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Install Manager to oversee and lead the installation teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar installation, leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Manage end-to-end solar installation projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train installation crews, providing guidance, performance feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform site inspections to ensure installations meet company standards, customer expectations, and local codes/regulations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company-specific safety practices and protocols on all job sites.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for customers during the installation process, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate materials, equipment, and staffing needs to optimize project efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, safety inspections, and team performance.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in solar installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training in solar or electrical systems preferred.
  • Certifications: NABCEP certification and OSHA 30 certification are strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders as needed
