Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by This position involves leading a team in the PGC5000 Lab, ensuring precise, efficient, and safe operations for the development, testing, and production of Process Gas Analyzers. You will oversee a dedicated laboratory within the Bartlesville Factory, focusing on chromatography processes, while upholding company policies, guidelines, and procedures with a strong emphasis on laboratory safety and technical accuracy. The work model for the role is onsite. #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation, Measurement & Analytics Division, in Bartlesville, OK. You will be mainly accountable for: Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet customer requirements. Working independently using solid competency in technologies, tools, and methods to solve critical issues. Supporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings. Qualifications for the role
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical or science related field is preferred, but not required (Chemistry, Engineering, Electronics, etc.)
- Three or more years of experience in a production or test laboratory environment.
- Three or more years prior supervisory or team lead experience, ideally in a technical or manufacturing setting.
- Working knowledge of gas chromatography principles and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience supervising hourly employees in a lab or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is also preferred.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
