Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to Robotics & Discrete Automation in Thailand. You will be mainly accountable for: - Acting as point of contact for customs brokers in case of clarification needs (e.g., regarding valuation or classification of products). - Auditing customs brokers regarding the correctness of customs entries, invoicing, and archiving. - Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities. - Maintaining and sharing with colleagues, as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations, with a focus on customs compliance.
- Strong knowledge of local and international import/export laws and procedures.
- Proficiency in managing documentation and online forms for import/export activities.
- Familiarity with customs valuation and classification of products.
- Excellent organizational and auditing abilities, Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to act as a point of contact for customs brokers.
