Data Analytics & BI Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop end-to-end business intelligence framework for online products and SAAS solutions based on requirements that include recommending an appropriate architecture (on#premises/cloud), analytics, and reporting. Each day, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics and to identify trends that could improve business performance. You will also showcase your expertise by designing new dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization. The work model for the role is: #Li - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products division in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear user stories and technical requirements. • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and data templates with a focus on usability, performance, and business value. • Create effective and visually compelling UI/UX, navigation structures, and interactivity (filters, slicers, drill-throughs). • Build efficient data models with optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, and performance-tuned data relationships. • Choose appropriate storage modes (Import, Direct Query, Hybrid) based on data volume and use case. • Establish and manage connections to enterprise-grade data sources, especially data lakes (preferably Snowflake). • Conduct thorough testing (functionality, performance, data accuracy) and manage UAT cycles with business requestors. • Create and maintain clear documentation for data models, metrics logic, data sources, refresh mechanisms, and usage guidance

Qualifications for the role
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI in an enterprise environment.
- Strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills.
- Expertise in data modeling, relationships, and performance optimization in Power BI.
- Proficiency in connecting to and querying data lakes (Snowflake preferred).
- Solid understanding of storage modes (Import/Direct Query/Hybrid) and their implications on performance.
- Familiarity with Power BI Service administration (workspaces, security, refresh scheduling, and dataflows).
