This position reports to

Head of Information Systems

Your role and responsibilities

• Design and development of modern IT infrastructure architectures: Creation of tailored concepts, definition of infrastructure standards, and close collaboration with project teams to ensure scalable and future-proof solutions. • Technology evaluation and strategic vendor assessment: Identification, analysis, and comparison of emerging technologies and suppliers to continuously enhance the IT infrastructure landscape. • Consulting and interface function: Expert support for business units on infrastructure-related topics and coordination between project stakeholders and operational infrastructure teams. • Responsibility for IT infrastructure services: Ownership of selected IT services, including installation and administration, as well as participation in defining project requirements and specifications.

Qualifications for the role

• Broad knowledge and market overview of current enterprise IT infrastructure technologies (network, server, storage,
• virtualization, cloud computing)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies, especially Active Directory
• Application and database architecture basics
• Affinity for new technologies
• Basic knowledge of projects and methods and ITIL an advantage
• Experience in setting up scalable, highly available and high-performance IT systems/architectures
