What will you be doing?

Junior Accountant

A junior accountant provides support to the Asia Pacific Finance team (Entity Accountants) to manage the internal workloads.

Responsibilities and duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Responsible and accountability for Malaysia E-invoicing related tasks.
• Be involved in month end/quarter end/year end close processes.
• Assist in preparing and post journal voucher.
• Assist and prepare manual customer billing (internal & external).
• Assist and prepare balance sheet account reconciliation.
• Assist with audit and tax (internal & external) preparation.
• Other ad hoc items, as necessary.

What experience would we like you to have?

• A university degree / Diploma / Advanced Diploma in accounting/finance.
• Min 2 years of related working experience in accounting/finance function (General ledger)
• Basic knowledge and experience of MS Office tools, especially in MS Excel.
• ERP system knowledge (SAP) will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn and being open/seeking out new experience, skills and information.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and communicate with the business.
