Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare solicitation documents (RFP/RFQ).
- Negotiate price, specifications, delivery dates, payment terms, terms & conditions, and other elements of the proposal/order.
- Establish and maintain procurement files in accordance with company policies.
- Perform market research and price analysis, as necessary.
- Conduct negotiations for purchase order award, changes and back charges as required.
- As required, performs Expediting of purchase orders to monitor vendor progress including to ensure timely shipment of equipment/material to the Project in a safe and cost-efficient manner.
- As required, coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
- Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
Skills Required:
- Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical and long lead equipment purchases such as modules, process skids, pumps, vessels, reactors and heat exchangers.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.
- Be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
