Avio Aero is more and more reinforcing the focus to excellence in aeronautical Mechanical Low pressure turbines (LPT).
In this spirit, we are looking for a design engineer, expected to cover the role of hardware owner for the LPT case of a new important Program, thus representing the focal point for all the design activities, coordinating CAD and FEM resources as well as integration with interface owners, guaranteeing the successful execution of the reviews in all the NPI phases.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
  • Build technical knowledge in LPT casings design, including interactions with other components at LPT module and engine levels.
  • Proactively support and coordinate activities within the commodity and with other Company departments and Suppliers in order to finalize the design of a new LPT case, as requested by Program plan
  • Issue technical documents (ie drawings, reports, specifications)


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical or aeronautical preferred)
  • Previous proven experience in similar roles
  • Experience in mechanical design
  • Basic experience with CAD tools (preferred Unigraphics)
  • Proven experience with FEM tools (preferred Ansys)
  • Availability to business travel
  • English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral
  • Work Visa, according with local regulation, is required
