We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Turbine Plant Subject Matter Expert to join our Data Center operations team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in gas turbine systems, with a deep understanding of turbine operations, control systems, and energy management within critical power generation environments. As the technical leader, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operations, troubleshooting, and optimization of gas turbine systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations across our facilities. You will play a critical role in supporting daily operations and future growth of our power generation infrastructure while managing external vendors and ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Gas Turbine Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise on gas turbine systems, including design, operation, and maintenance. Serve as the go-to authority for troubleshooting, optimization, and integration of gas turbine systems in power generation environments.
• Maintenance & Operations: Oversee the maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of gas turbine systems. Ensure proper functioning of turbines, compressors, fuel systems, and auxiliary equipment through routine inspections and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors involved in gas turbine services and equipment. Coordinate vendor activities to ensure adherence to service contracts, performance metrics, and SLAs. Approve vendor work, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Operational Support & Troubleshooting: Provide 24/7 operational support for gas turbine systems, addressing issues related to performance, safety, and reliability. Swiftly diagnose and resolve malfunctions or system anomalies, minimizing downtime and operational impact.
• System Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize gas turbine performance. Implement strategies to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and ensure systems operate at peak performance. Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure gas turbine systems comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and best practices. Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, maintenance activities, and changes to the gas turbine infrastructure.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and train engineers on gas turbine systems, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices. Lead training sessions on safety protocols, new technologies, and system updates related to gas turbines.
• Innovation & Research: Stay informed on the latest developments in gas turbine technology and power generation trends. Recommend and implement innovations to improve system performance, fuel efficiency, and overall reliability.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Experience:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and operation of gas turbine systems in power plants or similar critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong expertise in gas turbine operations, combustion systems, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, system integration, preventive maintenance planning, and fault diagnostics.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts within the gas turbine domain. • Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of gas turbine systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas turbines, fuel systems, and related components.
- Familiarity with control systems, distributed control systems (DCS), and turbine monitoring platforms.
- Understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainability in gas turbine operations.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards (ASME, API), and regulatory compliance requirements. • Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
