Are you a professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business? We invite you to join our team as a Sales Director Benelux for Measurement and Solutions group in Diegem, Belgium.

The Sales Director is responsible for driving order intake and developing sales and market strategies in the region. This role involves coaching Business Development Managers, Site Team Leaders, and Project Pursuit Managers to create demand while maintaining direct contact with clients. The Sales Director collaborates closely with operations, services, and third parties to deliver project scopes and services in partnership with the Business Unit.

Onsite presence is essential for effective collaboration and fostering our dynamic team environment. Since this role spans the region, your regular weekly presence in both offices will be critical for success: 3 days in Diegem, Belgium and 2 days in Rijswijk, Netherlands.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Strategy Deployment

Focus on driving sales strategies, developing growth plans, assigning responsibilities, and collaborating on initiatives.

Organizational Development

Enhance channel effectiveness, develop team talent, and guide managers in recruitment and capability-building.

Commercial Leadership

Lead skill development, oversee sales collaboration, drive performance, and improve customer satisfaction.

Cultural Development

Promote a value creation approach and implement teamwork principles for continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

You have an ability to spot emerging policies, practices, and trends within the organization, the competition, and the marketplace. By anticipating customer needs and using insights, you drive the development of innovative offerings that exceed expectations.

Your strong communication skills allow you to actively listen, adapt your message to diverse partners, and ensure mutual understanding. With a sharp sense for distinguishing what's relevant in complex situations, you continually assess the market potential of new ideas and solutions.

Additionally, you foster teamwork, empowering others across the organization to collaborate and achieve shared objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Past experience in sales / business development in process industry / industrial automation environment.
  • Proven experience in people management and driving engagement.
  • Experience in sales targeting and forecasting.
  • Proven record of agility and innovation.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units.
  • French language skills.
