RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in running the Digital Twin Support services; develop & maintain global templates & reference data libraries for AVEVA E3D aligning to Shell DEP EIS 82.00.10.30-Gen. Identify and resolve data integration problems in close collaboration with the central digital twin team, implement and support the control of technical documentation and data in the Asset of the future initiative, including the communication with external parties.
- Work in a global environment with culturally diverse teams and across many organizational and geographical boundaries
- Define 3D model specifications in line with DEP, Asset and project requirements.
- Perform quality audits to ensure adherence to Company's standards, completeness and consistency on 3D models handed over to Shell from EPC/Engineering Service partner.
- E3D/PDMS administration activities such as:
Project setup and configuration
Database management, data integrity check, reconfiguration, merging and backtracking of databases
Data access control
Customization of project specific reports templates
Configuration of Aveva Global and Hub administration
Import/export of 3D model data
Data harvesting and replication
Draft/Draw administration
Isodraft administration
Configure Laser scan data in E3D - Maintain Shell corporate catalogues and implement Shell DEP Pipe Classes in E3D/PDMS
- Required to identify, troubleshoot and fix E3D related issues, working with both users and software supplier
- Develop macros in E3D/PDMS to automate processes to suit project/asset needs using PML
- Consultative/advisory role to projects, providing innovative solutions and technologies with a focus on cost and schedule savings
- Perform data management activities such as project handover and archiving
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree related to Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical)
- 5-15 years of overall experience including E3D design and administration in Oil & Gas industry.
- Field engineering (Process/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation) exposure upstream/downstream preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, making a distinction between a high-level overview & details. Understanding of the needs of non-technical internal clients.
- Self-starter who can drive initiatives and a team player.
- Thorough working knowledge of all modules of Aveva E3D/PDMS.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in advanced Aveva E3D/PDMS administration, configuration, and customization capabilities.
- Experience in development of multi-discipline Cats & Specs and sound knowledge of applicable dimensional and material standards.
- Knowledge of Engineering deliverables for capital projects.
- Experience in supporting deployment of Aveva Unified Engineering, Digital Twin, 4D and Advanced Work Packaging
