As a Strategic Category Buyer, you will specialise in one of the indirect procurement categories and be responsible for managing the associated spend according to the company's procurement rules. You will join the EMEA Indirect Procurement Team and become part of our global Procurement community.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Participate in developing and implementing a global indirect sourcing strategy that aligns with corporate objectives
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, conduct negotiations and coordinate contracts
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct supplier benchmarking and alternative sourcing
• Opportunities to participate in process improvement and automation projects
• Working closely with internal collaborators (e.g. the finance, legal and technical departments)
• Regular reporting to management on savings and project status
• Participation in EMEA procurement projects and tenders
• Engage with internal customers and ensure they align with the Procure-to-Pay procurement policy

styles and position levels. You keep a strong bottom-line orientation. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• University degree or equivalent experience (business or economics preferred)
• 1+ years' experience in purchasing, indirect procurement or project management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a focus on customer happiness
• Fluency in English and Hungarian
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Previous experience of working in a global or multicultural organisation would be highly valued

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience in strategic procurement
• Knowledge of Oracle-based systems and/or Ariba or other procurement systems advantageous
• Experienced in contract management and negotiations
