Description
• Process and maintain records of check requisitions.
• Manage all utility accounts and billing.
• Conduct usage and cost analysis of energy, water, and waste management.
• Maintain efficient filing systems, both digital and paper.
• Coordinate waste and recycling solutions.
• Assist District stakeholders with general inquiries, providing solutions and support within the work scope of the department.
• Collaborate with team members in the development of programs aimed at reducing the district's carbon footprint.
• Assist Real Property Management, Construction Services, and the Linus Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building managers with energy and water invoices monthly.
• Update Energy Star portfolio.
• Coordinate information flow and dissemination of reports within the department.
Qualifications
• Required High School Diploma or GED
• Required to maintain a valid Texas driver license and driving record that meets the District's standard
• Preferred entry level experience
• Ability to successfully complete assignments and meet established deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Problem solving/investigative skills in finding creative solutions to non-routine problem
• Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and friendly manner with all stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of computer programs such as Microsoft Office and the district's approved software.
• Ability to train other department staff as needed
