POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up and operating assigned laser machines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:

• Ability to operate a laser machine (6 Months-1 year preferred)
• Gages Experience
• Manufacturing background

• Knowledge of applied mathematics
• Read, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to perform precise and detailed work
• Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the team
• Follow and promote safe work practices

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates machine manually and inputs data (MDI)
• Sets focal point and takes power reading
• Sets up tool, jigs, fixtures and laser heads
• Loads and unloads parts according to work instructions
• Sets fixture offsets as required
• Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
• Maintains accurate work records
• Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
