We are looking for to fill our HVAC / Maintenance Assistant Manager position. If you are an experienced HVAC / Maintenance Technician who is ready for the next step in your career we are looking for you! As the HVAC / Maintenance Assistant Manager you will provide additional support to help diagnose problems with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, assist our Maintenance Technicians as needed, and special projects around our beautiful campus. This is a full-time position with Monday - Friday hours from 9:00am - 5:30pm with a one weekend a month rotation.

Summary

The HVAC / Maintenance Assistant Manager should have strong technical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and strong problem-solving skills. They should also have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and electronics systems, and be able to work under pressure. A maintenance group leader oversees maintenance activities, such as the upkeep of all buildings. Their responsibilities include:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Scheduling: Scheduling maintenance tasks and activities
• Supervising: Supervising maintenance workers and monitoring their performance
• Inspecting: Performing inspections to identify problems and issues
• Repairing: Making repairs and ensuring timely completion
• Developing: Developing maintenance procedures, and standard operating procedures
• Advocating: Advocating for the department's needs.
• Responding: Responding to maintenance emergencies
• Communication: Communicate with maintenance manager daily.
• Rotate on call schedule.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the operation of maintenance related tools and equipment.
• Possession of good customer service skills.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC controls and control systems.
• Strong working knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
