RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement: Identifying and addressing local needs, participating in community events, and building relationships with community leaders and organisations
- Public Relations: Managing media inquiries, developing communication strategies, and creating content for public consumption, including websites, social media, and news releases
- Stakeholder Management: Engaging with various stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and residents, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Advocacy and Representation: Representing the organization's interests within the community and advocating for its programs and services
- Policy Development: Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that impact the community
QUALIFICATIONS

- Education: A bachelor's degree in community development, social science, or a related field is often preferred
- Experience: Practical experience in community outreach, engagement, or related fields is highly valuable
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential
- Qualifications: Depending on the specific role, relevant qualifications like a Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field may be required
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must have full work rights in PNG to be considered for this role.
