Analyst, Marketing Data

Job Purpose
Participate the Marketing Data Management activities/studies to support Company Strategy and gather world-wide information and statistics focused on key regions; including Asia and the Middle East, covering Energy infrastructure, Oil & Gas fundamentals and Marketing strategies.
Assist in "Variance Analyses" of the collected data and produce corporate reports in order to assess the inputs and provide management on value creation issues.
Participate actively, in the development of unified and accurate data management systems. Support in the gathering, assembling and analysing data from external and internal sources to generate defined Market Intelligence reports and trade-specific reports, supporting in developing recommendations as part of strategies deployed by Market Research Division.
Receive and analyze collected data and develop daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
Marketing Data Management
• Assist in creating comprehensive formats in the computer database, store, and access and retrieve the data as a basis for analysis and presentation. The data includes worldwide energy statistics focused on Asia and the Middle East.
• Gather data from external sources (market information vendors) and internal sources within suppliers to establish a strong database for Market Intelligence activities.
• Utilize the internal data existing in the Marketing Systems including SAP, BRM, CRM, Data Sharing to complement and validate data. Perform own research when necessary to complement / validate data from other sources.
• Support the development of an executive management information system, evaluate information data sources and systems to develop insights and make recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze and align data from a broad range of marketing research reports and transactional data, resolve any incoherencies and develop own conclusions and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations of the data, analysis, conclusions and recommendations through periodical reports, including graphs and tables, and covering historical, current and projected data.
• Discuss and decipher complex data and information to the senior management team
• Prepare and update Energy profiles: Client and Country-specific reports; optimizing on ADNOC Business relationship, Energy infrastructure and business opportunities.

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, Business or equivalent.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 6 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry, at least 4 of which should have been in marketing, research & administration business at a supervisory level .
