Role Overview:

• Provides a broad range of communications functions and services across a business or for a particular geographical regions or hub. Partners with business leadership to ensure the performance of communications generalist activities.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
• Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
• External communications: Work with regional communications lead and agencies to run the media relations, social media, website, and blog operations
• Internal communications: Help conceptualize and execute on any necessary internal communications. Maintain distribution lists, local site branding, site communications rhythms.
• Stakeholder management: Work closely with all leadership team to support external stakeholder outreach as agreed upon and under the direction of the regional communications lead.

Communications Operations:

• Liaise with global communications team as necessary to roll out global employee communications campaigns.
• Identify and onboard relevant local agency partners to support local work
• Help with budget management, POs and invoices from agencies relating to branding and communications campaigns.
• Run and/or execute to meet the Level 3 KPIs for the International markets team

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in communications, branding, and media operations, with fluency in Turkish/Arabic and English. They excel in stakeholder management and executing communication strategies effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Communications & Communications Business Partner. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• At least 5 years of communication, branding or content experience with a relevant marketing or communications degree/post graduate diploma
• Good understanding of media, social and website operations including content generation, targeting and impact reporting.
• Proven project management and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in Turkish/Arabic language and good English speaking and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
