We are looking for a Site HSE Manager / Lead with the following details :

Location : Lunago, Angola

Work Schedule : 12-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation schedule

Duration : ASAP - April 2026

Requirements

• Portuguese speaking candidates ( candidates must have a good understanding of Portuguese; Spanish speakers may also be considered)
• Ability to read and understand documentation in English
• Available for the full duration of the position
• Legal authorization to work in Angola and ability to secure a visa in time.

Qualifications / Experience required

• >8 years of HSE professional experience in energy industry and construction sector(s) of which 3 years should be on site.
• Technical degree or diploma (plus internationally recognized HSE degree/diploma)
• Experiences in the power sector will be a plus.
• Proven autonomy and ability to manage contacts are required.
• Precision and zero compromise/tolerance approach on HSE and technical excellence.
• High level of knowledge and understanding of the local HSE regulations applicable in the selected region.
• Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to HSE topics.
• Must be able to prepare, review, and audit working procedures.
• Must be able to prepare reports on all HSE technical matters.
• Must be capable of conducting HSE incident investigations.
• Ability to plan, implement, and supervise training in all areas of safe working is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and continuously improving health & safety, and environment management systems requirements.
• Good English language oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Portuguese language speaking is required.
• Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external.
• Proficiency computer skills with MS office and other day-to-day work-related software applications are necessary.
