Key Responsibilities:
  • Support secure system development: Work closely to identify, assess, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technical systems using COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source resources
  • Assess cybersecurity needs: Collect and evaluate the online network and cybersecurity requirements
  • Deploy tailored solutions: Develop and implement customized online network and cybersecurity solutions
  • Ensure compliance: Partner to complete approval requirements and maintain compliance throughout the technical lifecycle
  • Engage in cybersecurity discussions: Participate in working groups focused on cybersecurity issues, collaborating with IT security professionals and leadership
  • Train Sponsor personnel: Document and train team members on the effective use of online network and cybersecurity solutions
  • Maintain system integrity: Ensure the stability, integrity, availability, and privacy of deployed cybersecurity solutions

Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site
  • Travel Requirements: Moderate 20-50%
  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years
  • Secure network design: Experience designing and supporting protected networks for secure virtual activities and communications
  • Infrastructure integration: Proven ability to integrate secure network components including bare metal, cloud systems, ISPs, proxies, VPNs, and TOR
  • Authentication solutions: Experience creating secure networks that meet commercial user validation and two-factor authentication requirements
  • System configuration: Proficiency in virtualization, VDI environments, Linux system and BIOS configuration.
  • Server deployment: Experience deploying application servers such as Wireguard, OpenVPN, and Wordpress
  • API integration: Demonstrated ability to establish and use API accesses
  • Device hardening: Experience securing COTS mobile and computer equipment against malware, adtech, tracking, and forensic threats
  • Software evaluation: Skilled in testing and evaluating software packages
  • Technical documentation: Ability to prepare written and graphical materials for reviews, briefings, and user guides
  • Clear communication: Capable of explaining complex technical topics to non-technical audiences

Desired:
  • Sponsor familiarity: Experience with the internal technical requirements, challenges, and mission goals
  • Accreditation processes: Familiarity with IT accreditation procedures
  • Deployment collaboration: Experience working on network-enabled tool deployment
  • User training: Experience training users on secure network system operations and maintenance
  • Encryption expertise: Knowledge of commercial encryption and secure messaging systems
  • Network monitoring: Experience or willingness to learn network management and monitoring tools
