Position Highlights
This temporary position will support the School of Mining and Mineral Resources by creating and organizing comprehensive program documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and related tools. The role will also involve collecting and documenting key program metrics to support ongoing evaluation and improvement efforts. Additionally, the position will develop standardized report templates to ensure consistency and clarity in program reporting.
This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities
Program Documentation
- Work with program manager and core function leaders to identify and document key programs (including Mines for Limitless Minds, Mining Social License Summit, Cu at the Mine, Student Success and others as time allows).
- Work with Program Manager to create/document program SOPs, project plans, checklists and other templates (for programs mentioned above).
Event Support
- Assist program manager with event planning and preparations for 1-2 events.
- Coordinating project meetings, updating project plan.
- Securing campus partner resources and permits.
- Vetting and contracting food and beverage vendors.
- Preparing event partner rental order and coordinating setup and tear down.
- Coordinating with marketing and production vendors.
- Providing exhibitor and sponsor support.
- Providing event platform support.
Report Template Development
- Work with program manager and 5 core function leaders to develop regular report templates and produce draft reports.
Metrics Documentation
- Work with program manager and core function leaders to identify, define, and document key metrics (roughly 5 key metrics per function, 5 core functions).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Ability to create clear and well-organized documentation, including standard operating procedures and templates.
- Knowledge of process documentation best practices to support operational consistency and improvement.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
