Overview
This position is for a Nuclear Operations Controlled Industrial Facility (CIF) Production Radiological Controls (PRC) Operations Supervisor at Subase NRMD.
The CIF Operations Supervisor will direct four to twelve Decontamination Technicians in the performance of CIF testing, maintenance, and operations on a day-to-day basis at Subase NRMD, ensuring the safe and efficient use of manpower and resources.

This position involves working in radiological areas. Accordingly, the applicant must be medically able and willing to qualify as a Production Radiological Control Supervisor (PRCS) to obtain and maintain dosimetry and supervise nuclear work in radiological areas.
The individual is expected to support work at the Shipyard or Subase, and during off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
The successful candidate must possess strong inter-personal skills, support continuous improvement initiatives, and be willing to mentor personnel.

- Scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance and inspection of CIF equipment.
- Control of Radioactive Material and proper disposal.
- Reviewing test, maintenance, and operation procedures and drawings.
- The performance of jobsite validations.
- Interfacing with management and supervision from a variety of departments (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Radiological Controls, Ship's management, Navy personnel, and other support trades as required)

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of Nuclear Operations and / or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program experience required
Preferred:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program experience
- Recent Radiological Controls experience
- Current or previous contamination worker qualifications
