Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of HR Specialists and Managers in the delivery of the Talent and People Development functional area strategy. Each day, you will lead and steer the learning, talent management, and people strategy in alignment with ABB leadership and business needs. You will also showcase your expertise by counseling HR and business leadership on effective solutions to resolve issues and support long-term objectives.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Defining and implementing strategy related to talent and people development within the given function/geography/expertise, in alignment with group guidance, policies, and procedures.
  • Partnering with HR leadership and business leaders to understand current issues in talent and people development that can be supported or resolved through existing, new, and/or improved HR practices, processes, or policies in the area of functional specialty.
  • Ensuring best-in-class talent and learning solutions linked to the leadership roles.
  • Managing an active portfolio and driving high talent management and learning impact.
